It’s now the holiday season. Not only is it the season of giving, it is the season of eating. When I think of the holidays, I think of sweets such as cookies, ice cream, candies, cakes, and pies. If they’re made available at home, we will be tempted to eat them. After all, it’s there and it’s convenient just like food at fast food restaurants. You don’t have to put much effort in preparing the food for eating. It’s fast and easy. Yes, these food taste delicious, but are they good for your heath? Let’s replace these unhealthy sweets with fruits and vegetables at home. So that the next time you’re hungry, you can chew on an apple or a carrot. This does not mean you have to give up sweets all together. The key is to not overindulge.
